Competition information
Competition fees
Competition fees are separate from regular tuition and solo/duo/trio fees. Families are responsible for their dancer(s) fees. Competition fee invoices will be sent out later in the dance season once final entries have been confirmed and are due by January 31st in order for you dancer(s) to attend competition. GLM Studios does not set competition fees for other competitions therefore will and can not change them.
Competition Etiquette
At GLM Studios, we strive to create a positive, respectful, and supportive environment both inside and outside our studio. While attending competitions, all dancers, parents, and family members are expected to represent GLM Studios with professionalism and respect.
At GLM Studios we are courteous and respectful to:
- Other studios and their dancers
-Competition staff and volunteers
-Adjudicators and judges
- Venue staff
- Fellow dance families and spectators
Unsportsmanlike conduct, disrespectful behavior, or negative comments towards others are not allowed and may result in disciplinary action at the discretion of the studio director. This can also result in disqualification of our studio from competitions.
Competition schedules and dates
GLM Studios will communicate competition dates, schedules, and other event information as soon as it becomes available. However, competition schedules are determined solely by the competition directors and event organizers.
GLM Studios is not responsible for creating, changing, or influencing competition dates, performance schedules, adjudication times, venue locations, or event policies. Any changes made by competition organizers are outside or our control, and families are expected to comply with the schedules and rules provided by the competition.
