By signing this agreement, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the studio handbook, including the rules, regulations, policies, and expectations outlined by the GLM Studios. I agree to support and uphold these standards throughout my dancers participation in the studio this dance season.
Our commitment to studio values
I understand that GLM Studios is committed to providing a positive, respectful, inclusive, and encouraging environment where dancers can grow not only as performers but also as individuals. GLM Studios strives to teach discipline, responsibility, teamwork, confidence, kindness, integrity, and sportsmanship.
As a parent/guardian, I recognize that my actions, words, and behavior contribute to the culture and reputation of the GLM Studios. I agree to model respect and positivity towards dancers, families, staff, volunteers, adjudicators and other studios at all times.
Supporting a positive studio environment
I Understand that the image and reputation of the studio are built by every member of our community. I agree to:
Treat all dancers, families, and staff with respect and courtesy.
Address concerns through appropriate communication channels and not through gossip, social media, or public criticism.
Encourage my dancer(s) to demonstrate good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others.
Help create an environment where ever dancer feels valued, safe and supported
Social media and public presence
I understand that dancers and families represent the studio both inside and outside of the building. I agree to ensure that any social media posts, comments, photos, videos, or public statements relating to the studio reflect the values of respect, professionalism, and positivity expected by GLM Studios.
I will refrain from posting content that could harm the reputation of the studio, its staff, dancers, families, or affiliated orginizations.
Handbook policies and expectations
I acknowledge that I am responsible for reviewing and understanding all information contained withing the GLM Studio handbook, including but not limited to:
Attendance requirements
Fees and payment policies
Competition and recital expectations
The dress code
Studio conduct and behavioral expectations
Any additional policies established by GLM Studios
I understand that failure to follow studio policies may result in your dancer(s) termination from GLM Studios.
Partnership between families and GLM Studios
I understand that succesful participation requires cooperation between dancers, parents, and studio staff. I commit to supporting my child(ren)'s dance education by encouraging responsibility, commitment, punctuality, respect, and a positive attitude.
Release of liability
I acknowledge that dance activities carry an inherent risk of injury. By registering my child, I accept these risks and agree that GLM Studios, it owner, staff, and volunteers are not responsible for any injury, accident, loss, or damage that occur as a result of participation in classes, rehearsals, performances, or any other activities both in and out of the studio. I confirm that my dancer(s) is/are in suitable health to participate and that I will inform the studio of any medical conditions.
By signing below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by all policies, expectations and values outlined in the GLM Studios handbook and this agreement.
